About
At Bethel-Mansfield (BEMA) Foundation, we pride ourselves on being transparent, honest, and integral to the advancement and equitable treatment of children worldwide.
Bethel-Mansfield (BEMA) Foundation is a nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on child safety, success, and health equity.
We serve children in economically distressed communities by providing them with the necessary school supplies, including laundry detergent and socks, raising awareness of child abuse through social advertising campaigns, and mobilizing donations to contribute to child health disparities.
By partnering with local organizations, institutions, and governmental institutions, we can determine needs and discover creative and resourceful ways to address them.
Behind the Name
Bethel-Mansfield (BEMA) Foundation is a name with strong meaning.
Bethel comes from a small, nondescript church sitting along Renfro Valley Street in Huntsville, Texas. Congregants of Little Bethel were some of the most compassionate, people-first group I have ever met. Even up to today, I have not seen so many people work as tirelessly in the local area to provide clothing, shelter, food, and community to those in need. Standing at over 50 years, Little Bethel is a staple and resource for all walks of life. I want Bethel to embody this same sense of charity.

Mansfield is a major street in the Acres Homes community of Houston, Texas, a historic district and super-neighborhood of the City of Houston. Every morning for over a year I would pack my two dogs, Pyke and Junior, into the Rogue and drive down Mansfield. The homes lining Mansfield between Wheatley and T.C. Jester were at times majestic, sitting behind stone walls and on several acres of land; others were barely livable. Throughout the years, I have seen many demolished and the community along this street redevelop. Mansfield symbolizes perseverance and growth.

As such, Bethel-Mansfield Foundation is a nonprofit founded on these principles and with these values. It was founded in Acres Homes and currently serves this community of children.
Theory of Change
Our singular purpose is to create a community of child advocates. One where responsible and courageous individuals will stop at nothing to protect children, even those outside of their own families. One where we are accountable to each other and pursue justice at all costs.
In conjunction with our mission, vision, and guiding principles, we purpose ourselves to connect with local organization, individuals, and governmental entities to institute community-based plans that will eliminate child abuse, especially the egregious act of child sexual abuse, raise funds to provide for educational expenses, and mobilize donations to host and partner with health practitioners to run pediatric clinical outreach missions both here in the States and abroad.

Guiding Principles
These guiding principles shape our every action within Bethel-Mansfield Foundation.
