Who We Are

Bethel-Mansfield Foundation (BEMA) is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting children, supporting communities, and advancing knowledge that strengthens child safety and well-being.

About Us

Inspired by Acres Homes

The foundation is based in Acres Homes, Houston, Texas, a historic community whose needs and resilience inspired the organization’s founding. While Acres Homes remains central to our work, Bethel-Mansfield Foundation increasingly collaborates with partners and communities beyond the neighborhood through research initiatives, awareness programs, and community support efforts.

How We Serve

Through our programs and in partnerships with key members of communities, we can accomplish our mission. Motivated by the first steps toward change in Acres Home, connecting with administrators and meeting needs of children, a small percentage of our donations is dedicated to international issues.
